I already had a bandage. Why should this be any different?
A classic knee brace encloses the entire joint and distributes pressure over a large area. The LYVRA KneeFit patella strap, on the other hand, works on a single point: about two finger-widths below the kneecap, where the patellar tendon is under tension when walking, climbing stairs, and standing up.
That is precisely why it is so slim – and why it is virtually unnoticeable under clothing.
Where exactly does the tape go?
The KneeFit patellar strap is always placed below the kneecap, never on it. As a guide: about two finger-widths below the bone, which you can easily feel when sitting.
One strap is required per knee. One strap for two knees does not work.
Does it slip when you walk?
When it fits correctly, it stays in place. The non-slip silicone pad lies directly against the skin, and the Velcro fastener maintains the tension.
Tighten it a bit more than you would expect the first time, and check it again after a few steps. It fits correctly when you can clearly feel it, but nothing is tingling or constricting.

You don't need to measure anything. KneeFit is one-size-fits-all with a continuously adjustable Velcro fastener and fits almost any knee circumference – you set the tension yourself, as tight or as loose as is comfortable for you.
How long can I wear it per day?
Wear the band whenever you need it: while walking, in the garden, shopping, on the stairs, or during sports. Remove it afterward.
It should not be worn on the leg at night. If you feel pressure, tingling, or numbness: loosen or remove it.
I have osteoarthritis – or I have had surgery. Am I allowed to wear it?
The KneeFit patella strap is an everyday aid – not a medical device, not a medication, and not a treatment. It does not replace medical consultation or physiotherapy.
In the case of osteoarthritis, after surgery, in the event of an injury, or if pain is persistent or severe, please consult your doctor beforehand.
What is the strap made of?
KneeFit consists of an open, breathable fabric, a skin-friendly silicone pad for support, and an adjustable Velcro fastener.
The open fabric allows air to circulate, which means significantly less heat builds up under the brace compared to a closed neoprene brace.
How do I clean the strap?
Hand-wash KneeFit in lukewarm water with a little mild soap and then let it air dry.
Do not tumble dry and do not place on a heater: heat damages the Velcro fastener and the silicone.

Then return it within 30 days – even if worn – and receive a full refund of the purchase price. No explanation and no form required.
